A brand new chapter in my life,
accounts for a fresh newfangled start.
Where should I begin?
So much has happened since I last went MIA.
In principio, I've reverted to an academic lifestyle.
Again!!
Just a mere ten months break since my Honours in Syd last Dec,
and now I'm back to pulling my hair ends.
This time at my mother school - NYP.
Doing an advanced diploma in nursing (emergency)
is definite no child's play;
the pathophysiology bit is enough
to make me down caffeine by the buckets.
On the contrary, it's pretty awesome to hit the books again.
The lectures may be joltful,
but they sure beat facing impatient parents and screaming kids.
Bah.
And a super plus!
The canteen's ultra cheap lunches:
@ $1.50 per bowl of noodles!
Lol!
Domestic affairs - my house is sold.
Like finally. After a whole year of failed attempts.
There is at long last, an interested and genuine buyer.
Though the quotation was less than satisfactory,
but dad thought it's time to let go,
imminent of future losses.
Our Camry is gone too.
Dad drives an Opel van now:
in view of his new job -
back to F&B at the SPH.
I can't describe how I really feel about this situation.
Am glad on one hand that the financial load
is freed off my parents' shoulders,
yet the act of reality does sting a little.
Twelve years of memories,
it's kinda painful to release.
Have been flat-shopping around the
nearby heartlands for the past month.
Seems awfully difficult to find an ideal household.
And we have to shift by end Jan '09.
Fingers crossed we'll find an apt apartment
before the due date.
A big bonus on the move;
I'm finally getting my own room!
Because Shannon is getting hitched!
On new year's day!
She's been so busy preparing;
personalized wedding invitation cards,
a Vera Wang gown (mega-wow!) etc.
She's got it laid out in style!
That's my sis for you. =)
I'm gonna be her bridesmaid,
so I'll be soaking up on all the glam too!
TGIF!
With a long weekend too!
Hurray!
Never truly felt the joy of such occasions,
cause shift work robs you of such "privileges".
And it's KK's D&D this Sat @ Suntec!
(so that leaves me with just 2 more days to decide what to wear!)
*panic attack*
To end, life's still good.
And I know it will stay this way.

Cheerios!

Secret Garden, Bruce Springsteen
She'll let you in her house
If you come knockin' late at night
She'll let you in her mouth
If the words you say are right
If you pay the price
She'll let you deep inside
But there's a secret garden she hides
She'll let you in her car
To go drivin' round
She'll let you into the parts of herself
That'll bring you down
She'll let you in her heart
If you got a hammer and a vise
But into her secret garden, don't think twice
You've gone a million miles
How far'd you get
To that place where you can't remember
And you can't forget
She'll lead you down a path
There'll be tenderness in the air
She'll let you come just far enough
So you know she's really there
She'll look at you and smile
And her eyes will say
She's got a secret garden
Where everything you want
Where everything you need
Will always stay
A million miles away
